We are a bilingual, multiethnic, gospel centered church guiding people to our hope in Jesus so that by being with Jesus, become more like Jesus, and doing the things Jesus did we display Hope in the way we love God and love people. 2 When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. 3 But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. (Matthew 6:2-4) —What if you started keeping some secrets with God ... the good kind?

Most of us are better at doing “projects” of love than becoming “people” of love. Service in the way of Jesus is freely giving the love of Jesus I freely received by practically meeting the needs of someone else.

La mayoría de nosotros somos mejores haciendo “proyectos” de amor que en convertirnos en “gente” de amor. El servicio en el Camino de Jesús es compartir libremente el amor de Jesús que recibí gratuitamente al satisfacer de manera práctica las necesidades de otra persona.

Cuando reorientamos nuestras vidas y disciplinas para convertirnos en personas de amor expresado prácticamente como servicio, nos volvemos fructíferos y las promesas de "primeros frutos" (primicias) de nueva creación.
