If you are looking for something to do tomorrow, please visit the Mineral Historical Society! Here is some information about a fundraiser they are holding.
The Mineral Pride Society will be hosting a fundraiser for the Mineral Historical Museum on June 13, 2026, from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M. The museum will be open for viewing, and Main Street in front of the building will be closed off. The Dani Lynn Howe Band, known for their excellent coverage of 1950s through 1990s country and rock music, will be performing from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. There will be a raffle with prizes that include an Echelon 4.5 9MM handgun, a 55” color TV, and three $100 gas cards. A food tent will also be available.
The Mineral Museum is located at 121 E. Main Street. It was established in 2011 and occupies the only remaining storefront building in Mineral. Repairs on the building are needed, and an energetic group is attempting to raise the funding to secure its future for generations to come. The museum contains artifacts from the 175 years of existence of the village of Mineral.
Raffle tickets are being sold at the rate of one for $10, three for $20, and eight for $50. Raffle prizes will be announced at 6:00 p.m. The winner need not be present to claim their prize. A split-the-pot raffle will be held during the event as well.
There is also a GoFundMe page titled “Support Mineral Museum” set up to help restore this valuable small-town building. Entry to the event is FREE.
You are welcome to bring a lawn chair, BYOB, and enjoy some great music while helping one small town retain a measure of its glorious past.
The Mineral Pride Society is a 503C entity and all contributions are tax-deductible upon request.
