🏛️ History Made at Prince George Lodge No. 115🏛️
On Wednesday, December 17, 2025, Prince George Lodge No. 115 experienced a truly historic and unforgettable evening. We were deeply honored to host the 180th Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, Most Worshipful Matthew T. Szramoski, who made a special visit to our Lodge to confer the Sublime Degree of Master Mason upon Brother Ricky W. Jackson Jr.
In all my years in Masonry, this is the first time I have ever witnessed a Grand Master—along with many members of his Grand Line—travel to a local lodge to personally confer a degree. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime event.
The Lodge room was packed wall to wall, filled with excitement, anticipation, and brotherly love as distinguished Masons traveled from near and far to witness this historic occasion. The degree was led by RW Thomas F. Peters Jr., DDGM of the 29th Masonic District, alongside MW Szramoski and an outstanding degree team.
One of the most touching moments of the evening came as Brother Ricky’s lady, Alexa, entered the Lodge to present him with a very special Masonic ring, a moment that will be remembered by all who were present.
Brother Ricky has shared that he sought Masonry for true friendship, honest bonds, and men who support one another in times of need—values that were on full display throughout the evening.
We are incredibly proud of Brother Ricky, grateful for the leadership and dedication of Worshipful Larry Tate, and humbled by the honor shown to Prince George Lodge No. 115.
This was more than a degree—it was a night that will forever be part of our Lodge’s history.
🔵⚖️ Congratulations, Brother Ricky. Welcome to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. ⚖️🔵
