We’re proud to see our community partners at Unstoppable You Ministries, Inc. out raising awareness and connecting our community with vital resources. 💜

Domestic violence, human trafficking, homelessness, and su***de prevention are deeply interconnected issues, and collaboration between organizations helps ensure that no one has to navigate a crisis without support.

Thank you to Jennifer Foxworthy and the UYM team for continuing to show up, educate, advocate, and make a difference in our community. 🫶

🚨 URGENT HOUSING NEED – CALVERT COUNTY 🚨

CSHN is urgently seeking a one-bedroom rental in Calvert County for a client with an ACTIVE housing voucher of up to $1,200/month.

⏰ The voucher expires September 16th, so we are working quickly to identify an available unit and would truly appreciate our community’s help!

If you are a landlord or property manager with an available one-bedroom unit that accepts housing vouchers, or if you know of a property that may be a good fit, please contact Calvert Safe Housing Network as soon as possible.

Even if you don’t have a property to offer, please share this post so we can reach someone who does. 🏠❤️

We would really love to help this client turn their housing voucher into a safe, stable home before time runs out.

Please message CSHN directly with any leads.

A huge thank you to Jennifer Foxworthy of Unstoppable You Ministries, Inc. for spending time with the CSHN team today and sharing her knowledge and expertise on recognizing the signs of human trafficking and understanding its intersection with domestic violence.

The work we do requires us to keep learning, growing, and strengthening our ability to recognize when someone may be experiencing exploitation or trafficking. Jennifer gave our team valuable information and practical tools that will help us better identify warning signs, respond with compassion, and support survivors.

We are incredibly grateful to Jennifer for dedicating her time and expertise to helping our team—and, ultimately, the survivors and families we serve. 💜

🧺 Community Ask! 🫧

Calvert Safe Housing Network is currently in need of a couple of everyday household essentials for our shelter:

• Laundry detergent
• Dishwasher detergent/liquid

With a full house, we go through these supplies quickly! If anyone in our amazing community is able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. 💜

Thank you for continuing to help us keep our shelter stocked and comfortable for the families we serve! 🏠✨
