Step Up for Kids Non-profit support of New Parents and Children "Step Up for Kids" is the mandate of our organization. Visit www.stepupkids.org for more.

Filling the voids of post-partum through preschool parenting, our namesake stemmed from the Stepstools we provided to local businesses to help kids get a "step up" to wash their hands, and engage more self-sufficiently in a world not designed with their height in mind. We are called to put deliberate energy into supporting the time when people are created by the presence of a supportive community.

What does a night out for Step Up look like?

A beautiful evening inside The Federal, good food and drinks, live jazz, a little shopping and bidding, and a room full of people who care about this community.

Stepping Out to Step Up for Kids is an Arizona-inspired evening featuring dinner from Red, White & Brew, drinks in the Jury Room bar, live music from King Copper Jazz Band, a silent auction filled with local experiences and finds, and a few surprises along the way!

Come for the night out, bid on something great, raise a glass and stay awhile.

And while we’re having a pretty fantastic evening together, we’re helping Step Up for Kids continue creating connection, resources and support for local families.

Because raising kids was never meant to happen in isolation.

Parents need people they can turn to, kids need safe places to play, learn and build friendships, and families need opportunities to feel connected to the community around them.

Have you been upstairs at The Federal?

Stepping Out for Step Up is taking over one of downtown Prescott’s most beautiful historic spaces on October 16.

Located on the second floor of the historic 1931 U.S. Post Office and Federal Courthouse, The Federal brings together soaring ceilings, beautiful original details and nearly a century of Prescott history, all overlooking the heart of downtown.

If you’ve never had a reason to head upstairs, this is a pretty good one!

If you’re new here, we’d love to introduce ourselves.

Step Up for Kids is all about strengthening families and building community right here in Prescott. We’re working to create opportunities for parents to connect, learn, share resources and build support systems, while giving kids a safe place to play, grow and connect too.

At the heart of what we do is a simple idea: families are stronger when they have a community around them.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more about who we are, what we’re working toward and how you can be part of it.
