Here is a recap of last weekβs events π
Boys Lacrosse π₯:
Defeated La Crosse Area Co-op 16-10 in the opening round of Regional play π. They advanced to play at Edgewood on Friday, and unfortunately their season came to an end with a 19-5 loss. The boys wrapped up their season with an 8-9 overall record.
Softball π₯:
Traveled to Monroe on Tuesday in the 2nd round of postseason play and came up short, falling 7-1 to conclude their season. The girls finished the year 8-19 overall.
Girls Lacrosse π₯:
Opened postseason play at Sun Prairie on Tuesday and dropped a close one, 2-1, to close out their season. The girls finished with a 1-13 overall record.
Baseball βΎ:
Closed out the regular season with a 9-7 win over Tomah on Tuesday π, finishing 20-5 overall πͺ. The boys will open postseason play at home on Tuesday vs. McFarland. First pitch is set for 5 PM at Chuck Hall Memorial Field ποΈ.
Golf β³:
Competed in Regionals on Tuesday in Sparta and unfortunately did not have anyone advance to Sectionals. They were led by Graysen Dunn, who shot an 83 and missed a playoff by just 1 stroke.
Girls Soccer β½:
Closed out the regular season with a 6-0 road victory at Dodgeville π. They finished with a 9-2-5 overall record. They will open postseason play at home on Tuesday vs. Sparta. Match begins at 7 PM at Sauk Prairie Eagles Stadium π¦

Track & Field πββοΈπββοΈ:
We hosted the Regional meet on Tuesday and had several strong performances!
Sauk Prairie came just short of qualifying anyone for the State Meet. Taylen Young PRβd by over 9 feet π₯ and put himself in contention, finishing 4th.
Our girls 4x800 relay teamβCharlotte Gregg, Clarissa Brickl, Kendalyn Brickl, and Kjersten Hagenβran the races of their lives π
, finishing in 9:43.62. That time is the 2nd fastest in Sauk Prairie history, just missing the 1997 record.
The boys followed with an impressive 4x800, finishing 5th in 8:08.36 with Jacob Wiegmann, Taylor Isenring, Gavin Carncross, and Drake Brensike π.
Charlotte Busser, the only freshman in her event, set a PR of 12.66 and placed 5th π₯.
Jacob Wiegmann placed 8th in the mile (4:51.0).
Evie Bahe ran the 400m with her 2nd fastest time ever (1:01.35), placing 5th.
Makayla Greffin closed out the night in pole vault, clearing 9-0 (just 3 inches off her PR) and finishing 8th.

Competed in Sub-Sectionals at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Tuesday and unfortunately did not have anyone advance to Sectionals.
