Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 220 countries and geographical areas around the world. In 2020, we established Sauk Prairie Lions Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) insuring that all gifts, bequests, and contributions are tax deductible. Our primary fundraising events include:
• Annu

al “Lions” Golf Tournament
• “Cow Chip” festival food stand
• Brat stands
• Various meat raffles
• Lions Mints Sales



Our primary community service projects include:
• Pre-Kindergarten vision screening
• Collection of used glasses and hearing aids
• Highway 12 cleanup
• Transport of eye tissue to Wisconsin Eye Bank
• Volunteer at Sauk Prairie Food Pantry
• Distribute diabetes educational materials

The Sauk Prairie Lions Club and Foundation welcomed its newest member Justin Jorgenson pictured with his sponsor Nate Roloff.
We have over 30 members and would welcome others looking for a great and fun way to provide community service. We meet for a dinner meeting at 6:00 on the second Wednesday of the month at The Gym Bar and Grill event room.

Funds raised from the annual golf tournament, brat stand, meat raffles and Cow Chip breakfast by the Sauk Prairie Lions Foundation are used to support over 20 programs and services to help children and families in need such as the Tower Rock SOAR program providing after school enrichment activities for rural students.
