Hey all you penguin fans, we have some exciting news: Pints for Penguins is back at Nocterra Brewing in Powell!
Join your fine feathered friends and fans on Thursday, September 3rd, from 4-9pm for a fabulously fantastic time. We will have auction items to bid on and a 50/50 raffle. Also $1 from select penguin pints will benefit SANCCOB, a fantabulous sea bird conservation that focuses on saving African Penguins in South Africa.
You can to meet some Columbus Zoo Ambassador Animals from 5-6pm!
Can’t wait to see you all there!!

We have our winners of our 2026 photo contest: create/recreate your favorite album cover!!
🥁*drum roll please*🥁 The winner is the Pinniped Team for their recreation of the classic Nirvana album!! Second place was Australia and the Islands team and rounding out the top 3 is Wild Encounters Africa! Thank you to everyone who submitted photos, they were all so amazing!!

We’re ending our the way we began: with a dedication to our amazing animal care staff and their amazing animal tattoos! We had so many submissions that we had to make another montage! And although the official aazkinc National Zoo Keeper Week is almost over, we want you all to know that you are appreciated so much every day of the year!
