Poulsbo Lions Club

Poulsbo Lions Club When people who care step forward and take action, the whole community feels the impact. The middle schools take part in an annual Peace Poster contest.

For 84 years, the Poulsbo Lions have been showing what kindness looks like in motion. Started in 1942, Poulsbo Lions' now 68 members are dedicated to helping those in need, and to creating an environment that allows our members to enrich their own lives by helping others. In 2007 we started an evening club, the Evening Pride Branch, if that is more convenient for you to attend the 1st and 3rd Thur

sday of each month at Western Red Brewing. Email: [email protected]; President: Dave Risley

The Poulsbo Lions Club sponsors 4 Leos Clubs at North Kitsap High School, Poulsbo Middle School, Kingston High School and Kingston Middle School. Leo Clubs allow kids to build leadership, organizational and teamwork skills while helping their community. Eyeglass & Hearing Aid Collection Sites

Today is World Blood Donor Day.

We join the global call to honor the millions of voluntary blood donors whose generosity saves lives every single day. Their selfless gifts support patients in emergencies, childbirth, surgeries, cancer treatment, and lifelong medical care.

Safe blood is only possible because ordinary people choose to give.
Thank you, donors. You are the lifeline.

Flag Day is celebrated on June 14 to commemorate the adoption of the American flag, which occurred on this date in 1777 by a resolution of the Second Continental Congress. It is a time for Americans to honor the nation's history, the values it stands for, and the symbol of unity.

Poulsbo Lions have put up flags today. Would you like one outside of your business? We have routes on Front Street, Viking Avenue and Highway 305. Contact us at [email protected].

Lions showed up to the Jewel Theatre for their play “The Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On” with free tickets provided thanks to Lion members Sherri and Pat‘s volunteer work in the theatre! Everyone there had an absolute blast, especially Pat having some extra fun being chosen from the audience for a small dancing role.
