The First Week of School Is Officially in the Books!

Week 2 is already underway, but before we get too far into the school year, we wanted to take a little step back and revisit some of the fun we had this summer at the Ricketts Center Summer camp.

Family bags of shelf stable food will be available today, August 28th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bags can be picked up at 658 Beech Street Ricketts Center. No sign up, paperwork or call ahead needed. Bags are first come first serve. Anyone who is in need is able to receive a bag. Please, one bag per household/family.

Come supports our Pantry!!!

Our friends at Iezzi's on 3rd will be collecting donations with us on FRIDAY AUGUST 28th (ONE WEEK AWAY!) We hope to see you there! Bring a non-perishable food item to be entered into a raffle! 🎟

FOOD DRIVE. Friday, August 28th. 🥫
Drop off non-perishables or hygiene items at Iezzi's — they're taking donations all night!!
4–6: Tito's samples + swag.
4–6:30: Meet the Preston's Pantry crew.
Bring a donation, get entered in a raffle.
Tito's puts $1 toward the pantry for every Tito's cocktail — up to 2,500 through 11/30.

Ricketts Community, we’re happy to share that Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMP) vouchers are still available!

If you or someone you know is 60 years or older, please take advantage of this opportunity.

Application Dates: August 20 – September 3, 2026
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Join us for our upcoming Wellness Fair at the Ricketts Center on September 25th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Come learn more about your health and connect with local health professionals and community organizations. The event will feature health information, wellness resources, screenings, and helpful services for individuals and families.

Calling All Seniors!

The Ricketts Center is excited to partner with the SHARE Program to distribute Farmers Market Nutrition Program Vouchers to eligible seniors.

Date: Thursday, July 29
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Ricketts Center
658 Beech Street

We encourage everyone to arrive early, as we hope to serve 100 seniors during this event.

Don't miss this opportunity to receive vouchers that can be used to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables at participating farmers markets.
