At The Ring, no two shows are the same. Our 75-seat, historic jewel pulls you right into the story with excellent acting and inventive design.

Intimate, welcoming, and always surprising — every visit feels unforgettable. Since its creation in 1992, hundreds of local production companies have presented plays at the Players' Ring. Many of these companies were formed to produce a single special event, while many others produce shows on an annual basis. We estimate that over 200 actors, directors, playwrights and technicians work together to produce plays at The Players' Ring each year. Over the past five years, as much as $180,000 has been distributed to those involved in Players' Ring productions with original works accounting for half of each season's offerings. A theatre of this caliber, educating new artists and providing quality entertainment for the community, needs commitment and support in order to continue. Tonight, the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance collectively listed the Prescott Park Sheafe Warehouse, the Shaw Warehouse and the Players Ring Theatre - aka Marine Railway building - in its prestigious 2026 Seven to Save program in support of endangered historic resources.

It was an honor to join such a distinguished group of properties and organizations, united by the desire to preserve beloved, useful, irreplaceable architectural landmarks in our State.
