Join NH Outright on Saturday, September 19th from 11am-2pm at the Portsmouth Community Campus for our Fall Family Festival. We'll have a resource fair featuring some of our wonderful community partners, a q***r book fair, free family portrait sessions, a magic show, and Whoa Nelly and Kona Ice will be on site serving up food and frozen treats.

Little Outrighters and our Caregiver Support Group meet next Friday!

Little Outrighters group is for LGBTQ+ youth in grades 2-6 and meets at Community Campus in Portsmouth. Led by two trained facilitators, the group is an opportunity to meet other LGBTQ+ youth and do fun activities. It runs concurrently with our caregiver support group.

Caregiver Support Group is for parents and caregivers of LGBTQ+ youth. Meetings are at Community Campus in Portsmouth. For a zoom link to join virtually, please email [email protected].

A little Q & A on our Wednesday Drop-Ins at the NH Outright office in Portsmouth Community Campus.

Who is this for? LGBTQ+ youth and allies in grades 7-12.

When? Every Wednesday, 4-6pm, starting September 9th.

Where? Portsmouth Community Campus.

What happens there? Games and snacks available in a casual hangout space.

Is this instead of regular Portsmouth Outright meetings? No, Portsmouth Outright will continue with creative workshops and group outings once a month, as well as Little Outrighters and Caregiver Group meeting the first Friday of the month. Keep an eye out for our program brochure highlighting all the fun events we have planned for this fall and winter!

Do I need to register in advance? No! Just drop in when you can between 4 and 6 pm. When you arrive, we will get to know you and make sure we have all your emergency contact information.

Is there a point person for a caregiver with day-of questions ("is it happening today," weather/holiday cancellations)? Please email [email protected] OR [email protected]. You may also check our Instagram () for cancellations.

Can youth arrive/leave partway through the 2-hour window, or is there an expectation of arriving at 4pm? Absolutely! Come as you are, when you can. It is okay if you arrive late or leave early.

9/9 Wednesday Night Drop-In from 4-6pm at the Portsmouth Community Campus. A weekly open hangout for LGBTQ+ youth grades 7-12.

9/11 Little Outrighters & Caregiver Group at Portsmouth Community Campus from 7-8:30pm.

9/11 Manchester Outright meets from 7-8:30pm at the Manchester True Collaborative Center at 72 Concord St.

9/14 NEW NIGHT Portsmouth Outright Young Adult Group meets on Monday 9/14 from 6:30-8pm. Open to LGBTQ+ young adults and allies ages 18-24.

9/15 Upper Valley Outright meets from 6-7:30pm at the Lebanon Public Library at 80 Main St.

9/16 Wednesday Night Drop-In from 4-6pm at the Portsmouth Community Campus. A weekly open hangout for LGBTQ+ youth grades 7-12.

9/17 Nashua Outright meets from 6-7pm at 58 Lowell St in Nashua, NH.

9/18 Film Screening: The Dads from 7-9pm at the Portsmouth Community Campus. Open to all, visit our website to reserve a seat.

9/19 Fall Family Festival from 11am-2pm at the Portsmouth Community Campus. Open to all.

Join us for a screening of The Dads, a film that follows a group of dads building a movement to support their trans and gender expansive kids. Film runs 72 minutes, talk back session with the director, the producer, and a dad from the film to follow. Screening brought to you by GLAD Law, NH Outright, and ACLU NH. Donation optional, all donations will be split equally by the participating orgs.

Our Q***r + Trans Caregiver Group is a monthly virtual gathering created specifically for caregivers who identify as q***r and/or trans. This group meets on the second Thursday of each month from 7:00–8:00pm via Zoom.

Facilitated by an experienced group leader who also identifies as a q***r and trans parent, this space centers shared lived experience, mutual support, and authentic connection. It’s an opportunity to build community with other q***r and/or trans caregivers, share stories, navigate challenges, and celebrate the joys of parenting together.

Starting September 9th, we're opening our doors every Wednesday from 4-6pm at the Portsmouth Community Campus. No agenda, no pressure, just games, snacks, and a space to be around friends (or make new ones).

Grades 7-12 welcome every single week. Portsmouth Outright's workshops and outings are still happening too, this is just an extra place to land on Wednesdays.
