Learn about becoming a resource (foster) parent in Oregon!
Thursday 9/24 6p - 7:30p via zoom.

Join this virtual session open to all Oregonians with a desire to support teens and young adults in foster care. You will hear directly from resource parents, youth who have experienced foster care, and professionals about what it means to be a resource parent, the support available, and how to determine whether fostering is the right path for you. No commitment is required to attend!

🌟 Volunteer of the Month: Nicole!

Our Board President Nicole Foran is proof that leadership can look like a lot of things: guiding a Board meeting, bundling clothes in the warehouse, packing an Essential Bag, reaching out to retailers for donations... and making everyone around her laugh and feel included along the way.

Nicole gives so much of her time to P48, but what stands out most is how deeply she cares. She has a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for, whether they’re a fellow Board member, staff member, volunteer, or part of the P48 community.

She leads by showing up, pitching in, and never acting like any job is too small. 🩷

We love our friends at Wapato Island Farm! Every 2 weeks they load up our foster youth with the *freshest* veggies and fruits, often picked the same day they deliver them.
Community partnerships like this not only make this work possible- they make it delicious.
