This week, our Ag teaching team attended the 2026 Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas conference in Corpus Christi. They attended educational workshops and met with teachers across the state to bring back resources for our students.

This conference was extra special because 2 of our Ag Teachers were named finalists for the State Outstanding Teacher of the Year Awards.

Mr. Lupe Betancourt was the Area X finalist for Early Career Teacher of the Year, and Mrs. Jessy Ferguson was the Area X finalist for Middle Career Teacher of the Year.

Our team is ready and excited to take on this upcoming school year! ❤️💙
