⚾️🥎 Roosevelt County Little League Board Elections ⚾️🥎

📍 Portales Memorial Building

➡️RCLL provides recreational baseball & softball to over 500 boys & girls ages 4 through 15 that live in or go to school in Roosevelt County.
➡️The season runs from April through May, but work starts much earlier with planning, chartering, collaborating with NM District 2, organizing with the City of Portales, setting up registration, creating budgets, ordering jerseys & equipment, organizing coaches, making practice and game schedules, and prepping fields.
➡️Volunteer Board members are required to attend monthly meetings, perform their duties, and work field duty at least once a week during the season.

New Mexico District 2 made some noise this year! ⚾️🥎⚾️🥎

⚾️🥎 THAT’S A WRAP FOR DISTRICT 2! 🥎⚾️

And just like that, our 2026 All-Star journey has come to an end for New Mexico District 2. 💙

We can’t even begin to put into words how incredibly proud we are of District 2 and everything we accomplished this season. ❤️

From District games, to State tournaments, all the way to Regional tournaments, we had the privilege of watching our teams compete, battle, and represent our district — and one thing is for sure…

🔥 DISTRICT 2 HAS SOME INCREDIBLE TALENT! 🔥

Our players showed up.
They competed.
They battled until the very end.
And they represented their leagues, their communities, and District 2 with pride!

And let us tell you…

We also want to give a very special THANK YOU to our District 2 Board. 💙

You stepped up whenever and wherever you were needed. This season was truly a team effort, and we are so thankful and incredibly proud of our District 2 Board! 💙

To every player, coach, parent, volunteer, league president, board member, umpire, and every single person who worked behind the scenes to make this season possible — THANK YOU! None of this happens without you.

We are beyond proud of everything our leagues and teams accomplished this year. We had an incredible season, created memories that will last a lifetime, and showed everyone exactly what DISTRICT 2 is all about! 💙

And we already can’t wait to see what the future holds!

Sandlot Days is a fun, laid-back way to enjoy baseball all summer long.

We'll meet twice a week for skill-building, pickup games, and lots of opportunities to play in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
