Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82 Together, we can accomplish so much for those who need us. We look forward to seeing you!

It's our mission to enhance the lives of our Veterans & their families, inspire the next generation of Wisconsin leaders, and promote the principles of The Legion in every community in Wisconsin. The Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82 meets the second Thursday of each month (except the months of July and August) at 7:00 PM.

Volunteer positions include food prep (put cheese on burgers into a boat; server (interface with public - this is a high paced position); runner/stocker; etc.

Join us on a hike from Port Washingtonโ€™s Park and Ride to Kyoteโ€™s in Belguim using the Ozaukee County Interurban Trail. You may hike, or ride your bike, or motorcycle along the trail. Camp American Legion is a place for Wisconsin Veterans, Military and their families to come together in a safe place to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate. It can help families to reconnect, bring a new appreciation for each other for couples and helps us to heal on our journey to find our own quality of life. Gold Star cabins are available for families who have lost a family member while in active service.
