Today we honor Harvey Milk — a leader who proved that visibility is a form of courage and community is a form of power.
Milk fought for a world where LGBTQ+ people could live openly, safely, and without apology. His message still calls us forward: our voices matter, our votes matter, and our presence changes everything.

His work isn't finished, but neither is our determination! Hope is something we create together.

The featured organization this month is PW Pride. They will be telling us about who they are and what they do - highlighting their PRIDE Month activities.

✨🌈Join PW Pride June 20th from 12pm-2pm for our annual Pride Picnic! The picnic is all about celebrating community, connection, and visibility. This year, we’ll have loads of free food, refreshments raffle prizes, Free Mom Hugs, yard games, a photo backdrop, and maybe even a special surprise! ⁉️

Whether you’re popping by for a quick hello, or settling in for the full afternoon, everyone is welcome and encouraged to take part. 💜

✨Pull up a chair alongside PW Pride as we team up with Moonlight Tavern & Supper Club for a Dine to Donate event supporting our mission to the community! Enjoy great food and drinks, good feels, and a supper club vibe! 🍹

On June 25th, a portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated back to PW Pride, helping fuel programs, events, and support for the community right here in Ozaukee County. The event runs all day and is open to all ages.

Whether you’re a seasoned parade pro or this is your first time stepping off the curb, you’re welcome in our lineup. Bring your friends, your family, your flags, your glitter - whatever makes you feel loud, proud, and fully YOU! Plus, what's better than throwing candy at strangers and popping confetti canons in the heart of Walker's Point? Nothing! 🎊

Parade truck decorating starts at 12:00pm with parade step-off at 2:00pm.
