What an unforgettable weekend for the Port St. Lucie Rotary! 🚢✨

Our club had a fantastic social cruise aboard the Celebrity Reflection, filled with laughter, great conversations, and even better company. It was the perfect opportunity to relax, connect, and celebrate the friendships that make our Rotary family so special.

These moments outside of our regular meetings strengthen the bonds that help us serve our community with even greater passion and purpose.

Principal Mrs. LaTanya Green and Asst Principal Mrs. Kelly Bailer gave us a sneek-preview of the Tradition Lakes K-8 school opening August 2026! Recently, Ali McIlrath of Alexandria Bay, NY and her grandmother, Diane McIlrath, visited the Rotary Club of Port St Lucie as a guest of her grandfather, our fellow Rotarian George McIlrath. Ali is an avid Ottawa Senator Ice Hockey Fan! Apparently, since she has been going to the games, they have won every game! So, fellow Rotarian Sandy Lee and husband Barry (Canadian natives) felt she should look the part and gifted her with an OS shirt to show her team spirit! Incidentally, The NE Bomb storm's arrival gave Ali a few more precious days to spend with her grandparents before she was able to fly home to the cold and snow! PS: Ali is also a 22-year cancer survivor, having received treatment at St Jude Children's Research Hospital as an infant.

In honor of Presidents' Day and a pre-cursor to the USA 250th Birthday/Anniversary, our own Rotarian George McIlrath gave us a two-consecutive-week, thought-provoking presentation on Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. While injecting interesting facts along timelines and some lesser-known happenings, George gave us a glimpse into the lives of these two Presidents who were both born in February. We thank our fellow Rotarian for sharing his wealth of knowledge about these two significant holders of the office of President of this Republic: The United States of America.
