Work on the mental as well as the physical!!!!! ! It’s not about the punishment—it’s about what you become because of it.

When I tell you to run an extra lap, don’t see it as punishment. See it as extra conditioning. Every extra lap makes your legs stronger, your lungs better, and your mind tougher.

Champions don’t complain about extra work—they embrace it. The mental side of football is just as important as the physical side. When you train your mind to push through adversity instead of complaining, the work gets easier, and so does life.

Don’t focus on why you’re running. Focus on who you’re becoming while you’re running.

Train your body. Train your mind. Build your character. That’s how Spartans are made.

Some kids play football, and some kids are football players.

Kids who play football show up for the games, the attention, and the excitement. Football players show up for the work, the sacrifice, and the commitment it takes to improve every day.

A kid who plays football wants the rewards.

A football player earns them.

Parents should know the difference.

Not every child who puts on a helmet is committed to becoming a football player, and that’s okay. But don’t expect football player results from a kid who isn’t putting in football player work.

The game will always reward discipline, effort, accountability, and toughness.

Some kids play football. Some kids are football players. Know the difference. 🏈💪
