At THE CHASE HOUSE we believe in gathering harvest from hard labor. These girls have been working on this garden since 7 am and they refuse to use a hoe. Whatever it takes to get the job done. They were so happy to grow crops for the first time and be able to eat of it.

We are so proud of Steven Clements! He came to us straight from the Marshall County Correctional Facility. He had the choice to go straight home , or to come to The Chase House to make sure that he had a firm foundation . Not only did he complete the program , but he also earned his GED while here ! He has also made the decision to take another four month commitment to continue to ensure that he has the tools necessary to live a successful life and be the father that he is meant to be .

Recovery is about so much more than sobriety—it's about learning life skills, responsibility, and independence. ❤️

The other day, our residents spent time grocery shopping, learning how to budget, make healthy choices, and shop for themselves with accountability. These everyday tasks may seem simple, but they are important steps in building confidence and preparing for a successful future.

At The Chase House, we believe in restoring lives by teaching practical skills that help our residents thrive long after they leave our program.

We're proud of the hard work these men are putting in every day! 👏

At this year's 2026 Mississippi Peer Conference, the Association of Mississippi Peer Support Specialists and Disability Rights Mississippi recognized three Communicare employees working in peer support for their incredible contributions.

Mason Hester received the Peer Passion Award from Disability Rights Mississippi, an honor that reflects his commitment to going above and beyond in leadership, advocacy, and utilizing his lived experience to help others.

Andrew Newsom received the MIC Award from the Association of Mississippi Peer Support Specialists to celebrate his commitment to using his voice in advocating for peer specialists.

Meredith Davidson received the Inspiring Hope Award for her outstanding work in supporting others through their mental health and substance use recovery journeys.

Each of these individuals plays a key role in providing safety and support when it's needed most. We are so proud to have such an amazing staff dedicated to improving Mississippi!
