L to R: Mentor Bashiir, Hope Alive!’s Educational Specialist, Michael, a current Masaka student, Tonny Bwanika, and teacher Matthias from one of our partner schools attended a training focused on recognizing trauma and protecting children. The training, hosted by Teach Beyond Uganda, was highly interactive and approached every topic through a Christian worldview.

The team learned how to better care for children who have experienced trauma and how to nurture safe learning environments. Each of these participants has taken the information back to their spaces and presented the training to their respective colleagues.

🎉43rd Birthday with a purpose! ✝️

Instead of gifts, I’m hoping to raise $2,000 or more for the UG2 student education fund in Uganda. We have several students starting campus this year, and the fund helps provide things like laptops, basic dorm furniture, and groceries as they get settled.

2025 Year in Review
December 31st

As we reflect on 2025, we do so with deep gratitude for God’s faithfulness and for the partners who walk alongside us. This past year has been marked by steady growth, renewed vision, and continued opportunities to educate, disciple, and serve through Unchanging God, Unchanging Gospel (UG2). From classrooms to communities, and from sports courts to family homes, we have seen the Lord at work in both ordinary faithfulness and extraordinary moments.

This Year in Review (link in comments) offers a snapshot of what God has accomplished through UG2 and the Seger family in 2025. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and generosity. We are honored to share this journey with you and remain committed to serving Christ and others in Uganda in the year ahead.

As we close the year, we invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with UG2 through end-of-year giving and ongoing monthly support in 2026. Consistent monthly gifts allow us to plan responsibly, care well for people, and sustain the work God has entrusted to us in Uganda. Current monthly needs include:

Our Hope Alive colleagues have continued weekly Community Fellowships during our time in America! We rejoice to share one attendee confessed Jesus as Savior and Lord today during the meeting in Palami, Gulu, Uganda!
