Starting in October, the Wild Spartans Series is back! Join 4-H staff as we take a look into life working with fisheries and wildlife! 🐻

Follow along as we climb through bogs, peer into bear dens, mist net songbirds, snorkel for fish, or perhaps even tag deer. Meet natural resources professionals, learn about their field work, and the education and career path they've followed to get there. Monthly Sessions will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm EST starting in October. Each 30-60 minute session will feature 1-2 guest speakers. Youth will be encouraged to ask questions to learn more through a live Q&A with scientists. This free virtual series is open to 4-H and non-4-H youth ages 12-19 years.

Join Oakland County 4-H for a fun, hands-on Build a Bouquet Workshop at The Farm at Trinity Health! Participants will stroll through the flower fields, harvest fresh blooms and greenery, and learn how to transform their hand-picked flowers into a beautiful bouquet to take home. Whether you're creating a gift for someone special or treating yourself, this workshop is sure to be a good time! 🌼🌿

Looking for a fun (and FREE!) way for your child to get creative outdoors this summer? 🌿🌼🎨

Join us for the Nature Art 4-H Program, youth will explore Michigan's native plants, learn how to preserve flowers using a flower press, and create their own beautiful pressed floral artwork to take home.

Grab your horse and your sense of adventure! Join us for a fun, outdoor Horse Orienteering event at Rose Oaks County Park! Use a map, compass, and your horsemanship skills to navigate the course.
📍 Rose Oaks County Park
📅 September 27
🕙 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
🧭 10:00 AM – Quick introduction to orienteering + how it works
🗺️ Then hit the course and put your navigation skills to work!
🐴 Open to 4-H youth and adults
👥 Participate as a pair or small team
🧭 No orienteering experience needed!
👨‍👩‍👧 Youth under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

🎶🎨 VOLUNTEER AT ARTS, BEATS & EATS! 🎨🎶

Want to help promote 4-H while enjoying Arts, Beats & Eats in Royal Oak? We’re looking for 4-H volunteers and families to help at the MSU Extension/4-H/Oakland County Parks area during the event!

Volunteers will help with promoting 4-H and assisting with a variety of activities throughout the weekend. It’s a great opportunity to represent 4-H in our community, have some fun, and help spread the word about everything 4-H has to offer! 💚

🎟️ BONUS FOR 4-H MEMBERS: 4-H members who sign up to volunteer will receive a weekend pass to Arts, Beats & Eats!
