This week, we welcomed Zonnetta Thomas and Yvette Moore of the American Red Cross to share a firsthand look at the many ways the organization serves our communities.
From responding to local home fires and major disasters to collecting lifesaving blood, supporting military families and preparing communities for emergencies, the Red Cross relies on dedicated volunteers, donors and community partners to be there when help is needed most.
Zonnetta, a Regional Philanthropy Officer, shared how community support helps make that work possible, while Yvette, a Northeast Florida disaster volunteer and Volunteer of the Year honoree, offered a responder’s perspective from the front lines of disaster relief.
Thank you, Zonnetta and Yvette, for sharing your experiences — and for all you do to help the American Red Cross deliver hope and assistance to people in times of need.
