The Gamma Omicron Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has extended its Domestic Violence Donation Drive.

We will be collecting items through November 5th to support the Hubbard House Thrift Store and families impacted by domestic violence.

We are accepting new, unused items in the following categories:

- New Twin XL and Full-size blankets
- Bath towels
- Washcloths

Every donation, big or small, helps provide comfort, warmth, and hope to those in need. Please message us for details on where to drop off your donations.

This action is to raise awareness, show solidarity with survivors, and honor victims. The color purple represents peace, courage, survival and a commitment to ending domestic violence. We would like to encourage Sorors to wear purple and post your selfie on social media with the following hashtags:

Gamma Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc is Spotlighting a special Soror this month. We’re Celebrating our remarkable Soror Cynthia Smalls for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Cynthia Smalls

As a 37+ year member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., a survivor, and a four-time author, she fiercely champions Black women’s health through her blog Melanin and Pink Ribbons.

Her impactful leadership extends nationwide as she serves as Board Secretary for PINK “ME” and uplifts her community with grace. Soror Smalls will be an Honoree at the 100 Men and Women in Pink on Sunday 11/18 hosted by the Duval County Chapter of the Charmettes, Incorporated.
