When food is scarce, parents face questions no family should have to ask. How far can this meal stretch? Will there be enough for everyone?

For children, going without enough nutritious food can affect their growth and ability to learn. When hunger persists, those consequences can follow them for years.

The disciples saw a crowd they couldn’t possibly feed. Jesus saw people He intended to care for.

With five loaves and two fish, He fed them until everyone had enough. An extraordinary miracle, meeting an ordinary human need.

Their hunger mattered to Him. It still does. That’s why providing a meal is part of how we live out His love.
