Solu Foundation “Empeku Epuan”

Solu Foundation “Empeku Epuan” Our mission is to support children through access to education and to enable them to unlock their full potential.

Sofia and Luca (SoLu “Empeku Epuan”) Foundation aims at equipping children and adolescent girls and boys in Kenya with the tools they need to safely navigate puberty and grow into their full potential. We want to encourage girls and boys to become self-determined young adults who will in turn shape their own future and the one of their communities. We work diligently and carefully not to disrupt t

heir culture, nor to accelerate their westernization. Our goal is to support them without disrupting their ancient way of living, values and principles. We help real people in real places, through effective delivery of goods, such as education books and materials, sanitary pads for girls, solar powered light bulbs, clothing and food for specific villages in need. We count with local people on the ground - led by Masai Mara’s Richard Markupa Mututua to supervise the logistics and compliance of our programs, according to basic ethical principles and focus on maximizing the impact to the children.

Today, as Solu Foundation, we took 20,000litrs size water tanks to Koitiko Primary School in Mosiro, Narok East.

The parents and pupils at Koitiko Primary were very thankful to Solu Foundation. They became emotional as they shared the struggles they have faced in getting water.

As Solu Foundation we are not stopping anytime soon, we promise to keep helping where we can. We will not get tired of supporting others.

**SOLU Foundation Engages Youth at Oloropil Community Christian Church (CCC)**

Today, SOLU Foundation had the privilege of connecting with the vibrant youth at Oloropil Community Christian Church (CCC). Together, we explored impactful ideas and mentorship programs, emphasizing the importance of value-driven education, the fight against FGM, early marriage prevention, and climate change awareness.

Our activities included tree planting, a sanitary towel drive, and a heartfelt contribution toward education by covering the school fees for three underprivileged primary school children. The hope and gratitude in their faces reflect the transformative impact we strive to achieve.

We extend our gratitude to CCC for hosting us and to our speakers, Emmanuel Sananka and Hon. Concern, for their unwavering commitment to inspiring and empowering the youth. Your support ensures that we continue to create meaningful change in our communities.
