I arrived in Cooperstown a day early. Just to absorb the energy and quiet of this quaint village.
On Tuesday, Veterans Day, along with the local VFW Post and all veterans in attendance, we will be on our best military behavior as we march in honor of all veterans, living or not. The parade will begin in front of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and end at the WW1 memorial.
It will be a day of honor, commeraderie, reflection, and pride. As Ronald Reagan said, "some gave all, all gave some", we will continue to give, until our final breath. The oath all veterans take has no expiration date.
