🧦 Still time to drop off some socks and get a fall drink! 🍁☕️

Socktember will be wrapping up soon and we have almost filled our tote for our donation! Socks are the #1 most requested item when a child comes into foster care.
Our family was blessed through the kindness of people helping us with necessities when we would get a child. Something as simple as a pair of socks means so much to a kid that comes into a home often with nothing but the clothes they have on. We will be collecting socks the remainder of this month ❤️

How cool is this?! 🪿📚 Thank you for being the village!

When I started Dilly Dally Bookshop I wanted it to be about more than just selling books, so we committed to donating 20% of every used book sale to support kids and families in our community. And today I get to share our very first quarterly donation: $70 to Fostering Community in Point Pleasant, WV! 💜

It's our first quarter, so it’s just the beginning, but I could not be more proud of what this community helped make possible.

Thank you for every used book you bought. Thank you for every book you donated. Thank you for showing up and Dilly Dallying 🫶🏼📚

🧯 We have a prospective foster family that is in need of a few items for their home study. They live in Point Pleasant. They need two fire extinguishers, four smoke detectors, a lock box for medicine, and a drop ladder for upstairs. Please let me know if you can help or if you know of any local resources! 🧯
