Foster Care is near and dear to our hearts here at the Goat 🥰 We were foster parents for over 10 years and adopted 5 kiddos during that time. We are proud to be apart of Sock-Tember where we are a location that is collecting socks all month long. When a child comes into foster care most of the time they come with only the clothes on their back. Please pickup any size socks the next time you are out shopping and drop in our tote. You have no idea how much just some new clean socks means to a child.

🧦 Help us celebrate Sock-tember! Socks are the most commonly requested item for children in foster care. We are collecting new socks, all sizes, for the month of September. We have partnered with several local businesses and churches for multiple drop-off locations.

🧦 It’s hard to believe it’s time to talk about September! This year, we are doing our second annual Sock-temper drive. Socks are the most commonly requested item for children in foster care. To help meet this need, we will be collecting new socks of all sizes for the entire month of September.

🏘️ Last year, businesses, churches, and organizations all over the county took donations and we are working on our list for this year. We are reaching out to everyone who participated last hear, but we would love for some new participants this year. We would really love to find someone on the Gallipolis Ferry end of the county! We will bring you a sign and a donation box at the end of August and will pick it up at the beginning of October. Let us know if you want to join in!
