From leading organizations and serving our state to speaking before the U.S. Senate and meeting with a U.S. President, Tim has dedicated his life to leadership and public service. A Gulf Coast native and lifelong conservation advocate, Blakeley has dedicated his career to protecting Alabama's marine resources, enhancing fish habitats, and ensuring future generations can enjoy our coastal waters. Under his leadership, CCA Alabama has played a key role in artificial reef development, fisheries conservation, and habitat restoration efforts across the state.

Join us as Blakeley shares the story of CCA, the challenges facing our marine ecosystems, and the work being done to preserve the Gulf Coast's natural resources.

This week's Point Clear Rotary meeting promises to be a special one!

We look forward to welcoming Michael Herzog, General Manager of the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, as our featured speaker. Michael will share insights from his leadership journey and discuss the history, traditions, and continued success of one of the Gulf Coast's most treasured landmarks.

We will also have the opportunity to recognize Makiya Beyer, our special $3,000 scholarship recipient from Fairhope High School. Makiya plans to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of South Alabama, and we are excited to celebrate her accomplishments and bright future.

We will also recognize our 2026 scholarship recipients, including overall winner Austen Yang of Daphne High School, who will attend Johns Hopkins University on the pre-med track.

Tomorrow’s Point Clear Rotary Club meeting will feature an exciting combination of healthcare innovation and student achievement!

We are excited to welcome Megan Lemon and Maggie Palesano from HomeRN Mobile Bay as our featured speakers. They will share how HomeRN is bringing concierge-level healthcare directly into homes across the Eastern Shore and Mobile Bay area.

Members will also hear a special scholarship update from Wayne Bunch as we recognize this year’s outstanding scholarship recipients, including Austen Yang of Daphne High School and Makiya Beyer of Fairhope High School.
