Founded in 1955, LLTA is a statewide trade association representing the title insurance industry. LLTA members insure the security of real estate transactions by conducting title searches, examinations, closings and issuing title insurance to protect real property owners and mortgage lenders against defects in titles. LLTA has played a vital role in the success of the land title industry in Louisiana, and continues to be a vibrant and responsible organization for the benefit of its members and consumers they serve.
