Started in 1929, Pleasant Grove Lions Club has been serving the surrounding communities with willing hearts and helpful hands! We Serve.

For more than 80 years we have served our community in numerous ways. Where there is a need there is a Lion Whether sponsoring a community fair, building pavilions, providing playground equipment in parks, or fortifying ground for a skating rink, we have been there. Monetary grants for academic scholarships or leadership conferences are available for youth. We provide for vision for children as well as recycling used eyeglasses for people in third world countries. We sponsor clothing drives and co sponsor food drives with the Pleasant Grove City Library. Check out our website: https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/pleasantgrove. Where there is a need, there is a Lion. Your donations of used glasses do make a difference. Glasses collected from our drop boxes the last few months are shown here. They were taken to a central place in Salt Lake City to have prescriptions read, to be cleaned and bagged. About 4,000 pair of glasses were delivered to the center. With a lion's roar to our community---thank you!!!🦁🦁🦁

Pterygium is an eye condition that can occur to individuals living close to the equator. It is a raised, fleshy, triangular-shaped growth that starts in the corner of your eye. Sometimes, it can irritate your eye, and if it grows too much, it can affect your vision. This condition can cause many ailments, including impaired vision and even blindness. Sun glasses are an easy way to eliminate or reduce further damage to the eye. Please donate your used prescription or regular sun glasses at a collection box near you.
