Kruse Warnick
Kruse is one of the most polite young men I have ever met. He consistently says "please" and "thank you". He even asks how he can help around my house when he
is over hanging out with my son. He goes out of his way to make others feel welcome. Whenever my son or other boys his age hang out with him, they tend to
make wiser decisions. They include others, and because of his example, they stand up for what is right. Kruse is a very hard worker. Whatever sport he is playing, he tends to lead by example with hard work and dedication. He is completely kind, supportive of everyone's well-being, and considerate to everyone he plays with. He inspires others to work harder and to put in more effort, all while remaining kind and
uplifting. I have noticed that my own son is a better person around him, and because of that, I am so grateful they are friends.
Congratulations Kruse!! We commend you for being an amazing example in our community! Your influence is seen and noticed by others. Keep up the great work and keep making a difference!!

The first weeks of school can be a lot—new schedules, early mornings, activities, homework, lunches, and trying to get everyone back into a routine.

So today, give your family permission to slow down.

Skip something that can wait.
Put the phones away for a little while.
Take a walk.
Eat together.
Rest.
Ask, “How are you feeling about school so far?”

Your community needs your voice. 👊💚

Are you in 9th–12th grade and want to make a difference in Pleasant Grove?

The PG Youth Council is looking for students who want to:
✨ Get involved in their community
🤝 Build connections with other youth and community leaders
💡 Share ideas and help create positive change
🎤 Develop leadership and communication skills
🌱 Make an impact on issues that matter to young people

You don’t have to have all the answers—you just need to show up, speak up, and be willing to get involved.

📅 Applications close August 31!
🎤 Interviews will be held on September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
