Utah PWB is excited to share a wonderful volunteer opportunity with our members and community!

The Utah County Children’s Justice Center is looking for volunteers to help sew and stuff teddy bears for children who come through their center. These handmade bears provide a little extra comfort to children during difficult times. ❤️

For the past 30 years, Ruth and her dedicated volunteers have made approximately 80 teddy bears every month! With December off, they're hoping to double their efforts in November and could use some extra helping hands!

📅 Thursday, November 5, 2026

⏰ 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

📍 2445 N. Timpview Dr., Provo, Utah

🧵 No sewing experience necessary!

🧸 All supplies are provided!

💕 Come for an hour or stay for the whole evening!

Utah PWB is not hosting or organizing this event, but we're happy to help spread the word and encourage our members to get involved!

Whether you're experienced with a sewing machine or just willing to lend a helping hand, this is a meaningful way to give back to children in our community.

For questions or to make a donation, please contact Ruth at [email protected].

💜 Together, we can help make a difference: one teddy bear at a time!

Utah PWB had the wonderful opportunity to connect with the next generation of young women and encourage them to explore the possibilities within the construction and building industries.

Events like these remind us why representation and mentorship matter. When young girls see women succeeding in construction, skilled trades, business ownership, and leadership, they begin to see those same possibilities for themselves.

Our hope is that every girl walks away knowing that her interests, talents, and ambitions can take her anywhere, including industries she may have never considered before.

A big thank-you to the Provo Girls Summit organizers for bringing our community together and creating opportunities for these young women to discover their potential! ❤️

What a great Utah Valley Luncheon!

We recently gathered at The Holy Grill BBQ in Pleasant Grove for our monthly Utah Valley Luncheon.

These luncheons are all about getting to know one another beyond the business card by learning what others do, discovering ways we can support each other, and creating meaningful referral opportunities along the way.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We’re looking forward to even more connections, referrals, and growth together. ❤️
