Prayers For Grayson Harrison At seven month old Grayson whos from Utah was diagnosed with SCID, Severe Combined Immunodeficiency. Please pray for Grayson and his family. Loves to all of you!

At seven month old Grayson Harrison of Utah was diagnosed with SCID, Severe Combined Immunodeficiency. After spending weeks on a ventilator and being very close to loosing him several times. Grayson Received his life saving Bone Marrow transplant January 25, 2013 by his BRAVE older sister Brynlee just 2 days after her 5 birthday. The transplant was pretty successful, although Grayson has had an u

p hill recovery, with admission on top of admission since, due to GVH (graft vs host - a complacation from the transplant) , Viruses and Bacterial infections ( very common with such little immune system. Graysons major battle now is trying to find the balance to get off his medications that help fight the GVH but knock his immune system back now, he has been in isolation for many months now,although through everything he is a very happy playful baby, who is growing and catching up on mile stones everyday. He is our miracle baby for sure, and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. Any encouragement or stories you want to share are welcome. Yearly Bmt...we got some good news and some eehh news which we were kinda expecting. Looks like we might be entering the world of igg replacement which isn't the best news but the most important thing is that he is as healthy as possible! Doc said is immune system is doing good that it's just a little glitch. He makes some on his own but to help with the ear infections and stuff he's been getting this maybe the best route. We are going to test his levels again next month before making any major decisions. To see if his lower numbers were due to fluctuation or if it was a true number. So fingers crossed for good results but we are prepared for the alternative. The most important thing is he lives a happy healthy life! Overall he is doing great and has been pretty healthy lately. And will be starting preschool in the fall regardless of this minor spread bump!
