ADK Algonquin Chapter hike on Sunday, May 24th to Silver Lake Bog and Bluffs. A drizzly day did not scare the three of us away! We were delighted by the sounds of White-throated Sparrows, Magnolia Warblers, Northern Waterthrushs and Nashville Warblers. We had fun exploring all the plants, flowers, fungus, lichen, trees, birds, frogs and more. We were on a hunt to find a purple pitcher plant. Check out our photos and see if you can find it...
