THE CCHD ATUPA program works with an ATUPA Aide (someone between the ages of 18-20) under contract with the County to assist our Inspectors in determining whether a retail facility is selling to***co products to minors by conducting compliance checks. This summer, our local Reality Check youth joined more than 90 students from across New York State at the 2026 Youth Summit at SUNY Oswego!

The summit gave youth the opportunity to build leadership skills, connect with peers from across the state, and strengthen their efforts to expose to***co industry marketing tactics that influence young people.

We're proud of our youth advocates for representing our community and bringing back new ideas to help create healthier, to***co-free communities.

This is an important step toward reducing youth access to illegal e-cigarettes. By removing online va**ng stores from its platform, Shopify is helping limit the availability of products that have contributed to youth ni****ne addiction.

We applaud the efforts of Attorney General Rob Bonta, the New York State Attorney General's Office, and the coalition of state attorneys general for working together to hold online retailers accountable and help protect young people from illegal to***co products.

Preventing youth access—whether in stores or online—is an important part of creating healthier communities.

Shopify's removal of online va**ng stores from its platform is a meaningful step in closing channels that helped make illegal e-cigs widely available & too easy for young people to obtain. Great work by Attorney General Rob Bonta & New York Law Department for leading the coalition of state attorneys general!

Please be advised we are in the process of decommissioning the light at the corner of New York Rd. and Northern Blvd. There are still Stop Signs from Northern Blvd as well as from the Westside Ballroom parking lot when entering New York Rd. The light has been shutdown and will be removed.

Complete your Michigan Passport by visiting all five of the restaurants, have a Michigan (or two) at each stop, get your passport stamped by a staff member, and return your completed passport to the Town of Plattsburgh Town Hall (Planning and Community Development Department).

The first 25 people to return their completed passport will receive a free 2026 Michigan Month T-Shirt and sticker!
