Thank you to Assemblyman Michael Cashman for taking the time to connect with C-TURN. It was a productive discussion focused on issues we’re seeing right here in our communities including v**e waste and disposal challenges, the environmental impact of these products, the ongoing concerns around the illicit v**e market, and the growing presence of ni****ne pouches in schools.
These conversations matter. By working together and sharing what we’re seeing on the ground, we can continue to raise awareness and support healthier communities across Clinton, Franklin, and Essex counties.
We’re grateful for the time, attention, and commitment to understanding these evolving issues.
I appreciated the opportunity to meet with members of C-TURN and The Heart Network to hear directly about the work they’re doing across Clinton, Franklin, and Essex counties. We had a productive conversation about several important issues, including the growing concern around e-battery waste and the dangers it poses, the environmental impact of v**e waste, ongoing challenges illicit v**e products, and the increasing presence of ni****ne pouches in our schools. I’m grateful for the insights they shared and for the work they continue to do in our communities.
