The Shawn Herring Memorial Foundation How Can We Help? The Shawn Herring Memorial Foundation was created in honor of Shawn Herring. When he passed away he left behind an 8 year old son.

He was 31 years old when he contracted the Hantavirus while repairing his hot water heater, under his home in Fort Lupton, Colorado. This foundation was created to help families in need. If a child has lost a parent, if a parent has lost a child or any other situation where someone may need assistance. Our family is honored and compelled to help anyone needing financial, physical, emotional or spi

ritual support. We are also capable of providing meals through our loving hands and delivering to the families in need when necessary. We know the pain of losing someone close to an unforeseeable event. If we can lesson the pain and help you or your family we will! Please call, text or email.

I will be uploading the wagon ride photos on this page shorty! My computer needed a break! 🤪🙌 Happy to report our foundation trip went off without a hitch this year and we all really enjoyed ourselves. What a blessing to be able to honor Shawn Herring and his life and be in the wildness for a week horseback. We ate like kings, sang to the guitar Mark provided and enjoyed trail rides daily. I know he was there in spirit and maybe even gave my horse a pinch or two to step into a higher gear for a good laugh! We are blessed by God to be surrounded by such a beautiful landscape and wonderful people.

If you are new here thank you for the follow! My name is Desire' Herring and I am the daughter in law to Roxanne Wilson Herring and Dave Herring !
We hope this page can bring some clarity about Hantavirus and support to those in need! We lost Shawn Herring to the Hantavirus in 2015 here in Colorado. He left behind at the time an 8 year old little boy, his mother, father, brother and family and friends. After several years of mourning his loss our family decided we needed to do more to help families whom lose children and help children whom lose parents. It has expanded into so much more with the help of friends and family. We are a non profit 501c3 and all donations can be tax write offs. Please consider donating to our foundation today so we can help more families in Colorado and surrounding states suffering a difficult loss and or going through tragedies. Below is our website link and I will also share the CDC Hantavirus awareness link. It will take awareness and proper cleaning of mice f***s to stay safe. Please continue to pray for anyone effected by the Hantavirus and other strains. It is a silent killer and we pray no one else has to witness the loss of someone close like we did.
