Lord, please have Mercy on America.

11/01/2026

Lord, we come together asking for your grace as a country that has at times turned our back on you. Forgive us Lord for taking our eyes off of you. For trusting in ourselves instead of trusting in you. We do not deserve to be called One Nation Under God with the things we have allowed to happen in this great country. But we ask you to have mercy on us and America. Open our eyes to the evil one. May they expose themselves; Lord cause them to fight among themselves. Give us wisdom and courage to do what is right in your eyes. Lead, guide and direct us as we trust you. In Jesus Name Amen.

November 1, 2026, Skipper Calder brings a message about “Pray for America.”

Most people underestimate the importance of Mid-term elections. It could determine if a gay pride flag is allowed at school. Or who has control of Congress. We vote for what helps us or what is best for the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 16:23, Jesus turns and says to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”

We should not pray for what we want without praying for what God wants.

Matthew 6:33-34 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Dress for the weather, we meet outside in a barn. Join us in person and bring a friend.

Children's Church with scripture lesson provided for children between the ages of 3 and 12.

Can you pray this and mean it?

Ps 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Years ago Kathy Calder and Skipper Calder went off for a few days. Just some R&R. After we got settled in I put on my bathing suit and headed to the jacuzzi. I was not gone long until I returned to the room. Telling Kathy there was no jacuzzi. She told me she had made sure they had one, because she knew I wanted one to help me relax. I told her I walked all around the pool, NO jacuzzi. Then she pulled up their website and showed me a picture of a jacuzzi near the pool. I studied the picture and went back to the pool. The picture shows where the jacuzzi USED TO BE. Lesson learned, sometimes things change. I'm glad God never changes. His love endures forever.

Skipper Calder would say read that twice.
