Come to the 1914 high school downtown and get your Strawberry fix for a good cause! We are way at the back so come find us. 😊🐾💜
Then tonight from 7 to 10 PM, we will be back at Plant City Monster Mash at the Plant City Stadium. There we have our baby goats dressed up and ready to have a spooktacular time !!

Just a friendly reminder-
If it’s not your pasture, then it’s not your manure….

Unless someone has invited you into their pasture, you should tend to your own manure!!

WE NEED YOU!!!
We are short on Volunteers for our petting zoo at Plant City Parks & Recreation Monster Mash this Friday (6-10, set up at 4:30) and Saturday 7-10 (plus take down). We really could use more volunteers to help watch over goats, give out candy, help with the goat feeding, spread the rescue mission, etc... It's a super fun time - you can even wear a costume (like our goats:)!
PLEASE reach out via PM if you have interest in volunteering for this well attended event!

Hello friends of Little Paws! We are gearing up for a busy Fall season and we could use your help!
How many animals we take for the petting zoo, if we can set up a fundraising table/raffle, if we get any breaks all depends on Volunteers! If you can help with any of the dates posted (pinned to top of Little Paws Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc. page) please reach out!
If you can't volunteer time but can spare a few dollars to help us stock up on goodies to hand out - ANY kind of individually wrapped non chocolate candy, fruit snack, or halloween goodie would be greatly appreciated. The following links are just suggestions for your convenience. I hear Walgreens and Dollar General have some good candy deals as well!

Thanks for your consideration and helping us make this outreach fun for our community!

OCTOBER schedule of events:

I believe we have *finally* finalized our community activities for this month (but be prepared for a last minute addition)

10/18 Sunday 10-4: Walden Lake Community Fall Fest at Walden Lake Park Griffin Blvd.

10/23 (Friday)6-10 and 10/24 (Saturday)7-10: Monster Mash at the Plant CIty Stadium! This is a FUN one where we all dress up (even the goats). We could use donations of bags of non chocolate candy/treats for this!

10/24 Saturday 9-2: Pioneer Day at 1914 High School. Spivey Berry Trailer- we don't have jumbo dipped berries quite yet, but we will be serving World Famous Spivey Farms Strawberry shortcake with topping of your choice!

10/29 Thursday 3-7: Springhead Elementary 150 year Festival - Spivey Berry Trailer- we don't have jumbo dipped berries quite yet. Still deciding on what strawberry treat we will serve, but rest assured it will be yummy!

Stay Tuned for November's list- hint... we will be having BINGO at everyones favorite barn..... ;)

Other than every day care, how do your donations support the Rescue? When there’s a little extra in the budget, we plan for a little project such as this. Our cows have been bowl fed since they’ve gotten here and in the rainy season, which is now, the bowls get muddy and where they stand to eat hay and feed gets even yuckier with their manure and p*e, and it just becomes a sloppy, gross mess. We already had one bunk trough and some lumber. Today we invested in some more lumber and another trough and with the help of friends built an in line bunk feeder. The cows will now eat through the fence, separated by 4 x 4 posts. This will help us make sure everybody gets the food that they’re supposed to as well as a so much easier and hygienic way to do it. It was unusually hot today, but there was a nice breeze. We are sweaty, a little muddy, but grateful. Hopefully the cows enjoy their new dining table. 🤣

The story of “Joshie” and his one testicle. Perhaps would make a good children’s book? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣
