Zeta Phi Beta Sorority began as an idea conceived by our Five Pearls: Arizona Cleaver, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler, Pearl Neal and Fannie Pettie. These five phenomenal women dared to depart from the traditional coalitions for black women seeking to establish an organization predicated on the precepts of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love & Finer Womanhood.
