Happy Last Day of School, Plainville! 🎓☀️

Today marks the end of another school year filled with learning, growth, friendships, and memories. We hope everyone enjoys a safe, fun, and well-deserved summer break. (and a special good luck to all the parents who now have houses full of kids!) Congratulations to those moving up to a new grade, and especially to this year's graduates as they begin their next chapter.

Happy beautiful Wednesday, friends!!

As if this beautiful weather isn't enough to be happy about, here's some more good news!

Our friends at Stop & Shop in Southington are helping raise money for the pantry this June.

For every Bloomin' 4 Good bouquet sold, $1 will be donated to the pantry!

So all you need to do is find an excuse to buy some flowers for someone. Not only will you make their day, but you'll help feed someone else, too. A win-win if there ever was one!

Again, a big thank-you to Stop & Shop and to all of you in our community for helping uplift our neighbors.

Good morning and happy Monday, friends—and happy last week of school!
We hope everyone had a great weekend filled with dance recitals, graduation parties, and World Cup cookouts.

Adopted

Ariah is our newest dog available for adoption. She is a 10 month old Jack Russell /Pit mix. Ariah is timid, but warms up quickly. She has not been seen by a vet yet, and would prefer a quiet home. She will need time to adjust and some training. If you are interested in Ariah, please call us at 860-584-3087

Happy Tuesday, friends!!

Summer is coming, and everyone seems to be doing some spring cleaning of their closets because we've seen an influx of clothing donations lately. Here are a few quick tips regarding clothing donations:

• Please donate clothing that is unstained, odor-free, and in good, like-new condition.

• We cannot reuse bathing suits of any kind.

• We also cannot reuse underwear of any kind, including bras.

• We do accept footwear, but like clothing, it should be in great condition with minimal wear.

• Please do not leave clothing donations at our doors after hours. Unfortunately, once items have been left out in the elements, we often cannot use them.

Happy Friday, friends! ☀️

Occasionally, we receive donations that we hold onto, thinking one of our clients may need them down the road. When they don't find a home after some time, we like to open them up to the community before exploring other options.

Today, we have this OneTouch Verio blood glucose monitoring kit, along with test strips and lancets, available to anyone who can use it.
