🍷💜 Our very first Sip & Sort was a HUGE success! What an amazing evening! We enjoyed great wine (Cedarvale Winery), great conversation, and great company while making a difference for our community. Together, we sorted and hung countless clothing donations that will soon help local families, senior citizens, veterans, and individuals in need.

One of the best parts of the night was meeting so many wonderful people who share a passion for helping others. We laughed, chatted, and got a a lot accomplished!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Sip & Sort such a fun and successful event.

The response was so positive that we’re making Sip & Sort a monthly event! 🎉

UPDATE! We are only $102 away from GOAL! Can you help? 💜 URGENT NEED- Can you imagine knowing that your family’s belongings and many treasured memories could soon be auctioned away?

One local family is facing that heartbreaking reality.

The husband is battling cancer and has been missing work. At the same time, a parent has been diagnosed with end-stage COPD and has been in and out of the hospital. Between caregiving responsibilities, missed work, and health challenges of their own, the family has fallen behind on their storage unit payment.

Years ago, flooding and mold in their rental home forced them to place many of their belongings into storage for safekeeping.

The current balance due is $406.

When life brings illness, unexpected hardships, and financial strain all at once, families can quickly find themselves overwhelmed.

No family should have to worry about losing cherished belongings while navigating medical challenges.

💜 Purple Power in Action 💜 The outpouring of kindness from our community never ceases to amaze us.

We were able to fill this gift bag with gift cards for the Worrell family following the devastating house fire they recently experienced.

A special thank you to our friend Kristy, who will personally deliver the gift bag to Josh as he works for her company.

No one ever expects to face the unimaginable loss that comes with a house fire. While gift cards cannot replace cherished memories or treasured belongings, we hope they provide a small measure of comfort and help as the family begins the difficult journey of rebuilding.

To everyone who donated, shared, and supported this effort, thank you for proving once again that small acts truly do make a big impact.

Together, we are stronger. 💜

Help me prevent the next litter. I hate to be this person, but this is upsetting me more and more every single day. The photos below are animals that have been euthanized simply because shelters ran out of space.
A $5 donation today may save generations of animals tomorrow. My goal is to make sure each of our clients have the opportunity to get their animals spayed/neutered.

Every day I scroll social media and see another dog or cat on a euthanasia list… killed for space.
It breaks my heart every single time.
These animals didn’t ask to end up in overcrowded shelters.
While I wish I could adopt every single one, I can’t.

BUT maybe there is another way we can help.

At Angels Community Outreach, we are working with veterinarians and spay/neuter programs to help our clients get their pets fixed at reduced costs. Many programs have long wait lists, and in the meantime, more puppies and kittens are being born.

I recently met with several families whose pets just had babies. An accidental litter. More mouths to feed, more veterinary care needed, more animals searching for homes that may never come.

The truth is heartbreaking. Animals are not being born into a crisis. They are being born because there already IS one.

One unspayed dog can lead to hundreds of puppies over time.
One unspayed cat can lead to thousands of kittens in just a few years.

What if we stopped the cycle before it starts?

Today, I’m asking for something simple. Would you donate just $5 to our Purple Paws Spay & Neuter Fund?

Five dollars may not seem like much. But five dollars from many people can save countless lives.

💜 A Heartfelt Thank You to TD Bank! Sometimes it’s the little things, a favorite snack, a cold drink on a hot day, or an unexpected treat that can bring a smile to someone’s face.
A special thank you to TD Bank for generously donating the leftover snacks, water, and soda from their event last week to Angels Community Outreach.

While these items may seem small, they make a big difference to the families we serve. For many, a snack or special treat is something they may not be able to purchase while stretching their budget to cover necessities.

These donations will help brighten someone’s day and provide a little extra comfort to families navigating difficult times.
