Meet Jonathan a graduate from Life changers.
God pulled me out of a 23-year addiction when I had nothing left.
These pictures say it all.
On the left—that was me, lost in an alcohol and m**h addiction.I lost my job, my home, my friends… even my family couldn’t have me around anymore. I ended up homeless, living in a tent.
One cold day, I was in line trying to get a hotel voucher. I walked across the street to a Food City, saw a LifeChangers table, picked up the paper… and threw it away.
But I couldn’t shake it.
Som**hing in my heart wouldn’t let it go. Looking back now, I know that was God calling me.
So I made the call.
That one decision changed everything.
I came into Lifechangers a non-believer. I fought it from the moment I got there. A week into the program I finally went to the altar to pray. Everything changed that day.Som**hing in my heart shifted and let the Lord in. It was an amazing encounter and I could no longer deny His existence.
God has used LifeChangers to bring me back to Him and start rebuilding my life. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been real.
On the right—that’s me today.
By the grace of God, I am 22 months clean.
I’m not the same man I used to be. I have peace I didn’t think was possible. I have hope again. And most importantly, I have a relationship with God that saved my life.
Now I get to go out and tell ppl how God has turned my life around. To spread the joy peace and hope He has given me. To tell ppl that no matter how far gone you are or what you have done it’s never too late to turn back to Him.
If you’re out there struggling, feeling like it’s too far gone or too late—it’s not.
Don’t ignore that voice. Don’t throw away that opportunity like I almost did.
