Honoring All Veterans Past and Present on Veterans Day
November 11th, 2025, 9am
At Davidson River Cemetery

You are invited to join the Marine Corp JROTC and Cemetery Board to honor all Veterans, at Davidson River Cemetery for a solemn ceremony at the flagpole. You are encouraged to bring a chair and an umbrella. The event will be held unless there is heavy rain. The cemetery is located at the corner of Davidson River Cemetery and Jesse Mackey Rds.

Davidson River Cemetery Board of Directors is in need of Volunteer help planting dogwood trees at the cemetery. A couple of people with shovels are needed on October 16th to help with preparing holes with an auger. Several more are needed on October 18th to plant the trees, it would be best if they can lift 50 lbs. If you are interested in helping out, please respond to this message. Thanks.

Free Headstone Cleaning Class
Join us at Davidson River Cemetery and learn how to clean headstones.
April 6th & October 5th, 2024,
10:00 am-12:00pm
Davidson River Cemetery Rd. Pisgah Forest, NC.
All supplies will be provided. The class is free, a small donation to offset the cost of materials is appreciated. This is a hands-on class, dress for outside work.
*Classes will be held weather permitting*
