Reminder that the Veterans Committee is still looking for artist to recreate our logo. Deadline to submit is September 13th.

🦅ATTENTION RELATIVES & ARTISTS! 🦅
The Oglala Lakota Veterans Committee is hosting an art contest to recreate our official logo!
We are looking for a powerful design that honors our Veterans and our Lakota culture.

Contest Criteria:
🔹Must incorporate the Oglala Sioux tribal flag.

🔹Winning artist must sign a contract relinquishing rights to the design.

🔹Winner will receive a $700.00 award.

🔹Must provide the final logo in the committee's requested digital format.

🔹NO AI ART ALLOWED. We want to give full credit and honor to the Artist.

🔹Must be Oglala Sioux Tribal member.

⏳ Deadline: September 13, 2026

After math of veterans out to Allen service center.
Wopila to Akicita Lakota veterans for providing a healthy nourishing meal.
Wopila to all the veterans who participated and shared their voices on the radio.
Once a month, every month, the veterans hour hits the road to each district.
Next up is Pahin Sinte sept 20th for the Woman’s Veterans hour.
