Help Us Celebrate the Difference-Makers

We’re proud to honor outstanding educators like Cindy Lacefield, last year’s inductee into the Piedmont Public Schools Education Foundation Hall of Fame.

Now it’s your turn to help recognize the next extraordinary educator who has shaped the lives of Piedmont students. Nominate an Educator for the Hall of Fame today.

Requirements for nomination:

-Eligible candidates must have been with Piedmont Public Schools for ten or more years.

-Nominees should have positively impacted students in a meaningful and extraordinary way.

-Teachers, support staff, and principals are all eligible to be nominated.

Submit your nomination to [email protected] along with a short bio highlighting why this individual stands out.

Nominations will be accepted until November 13, 2026, so don’t wait. Let’s come together to honor the educators who go above and beyond to inspire and educate our students.

Great teachers deserve a little extra recognition.

During Parent-Teacher Conferences, student could nominate their favorite teacher at the PPSEF table. It’s such a joy to see these little write a name and sometimes a sweet note to a great teacher.

A big thank you to our Piedmont schools for welcoming us and allowing us to celebrate the amazing educators who make a difference every day!

Meet the Board: Dustin Stubblefield!

Meet Dustin Stubblefield, Vice President of the Piedmont Public Schools Education Foundation Board! Dustin brings a heart for our schools and a passion for supporting Piedmont students and teachers.

Here’s more about Dustin, in his own words:

“I am currently in my third year serving on the Piedmont Public Schools Education Foundation Board and am honored to serve as Vice President. I became involved with the Foundation after seeing firsthand the meaningful impact it was making throughout the Piedmont community and within Piedmont Public Schools. My passion for supporting our students, teachers, and school district continues to drive my commitment to the Foundation.

My wife, Stephanie, and I have been married for 14 years, and we are proud parents of three children who all attend Piedmont Public Schools: Kenzi, an eighth grader; Phenix, a fifth grader; and Cal, a first grader. Having our children in the district gives our family a personal connection to the schools and a firsthand appreciation for the teachers, staff, and opportunities they provide to Piedmont students.

Professionally, I serve as Executive Vice President over Treasury and Business Banking at Chickasaw Community Bank. Through my career in banking, I have developed a strong passion for building relationships, supporting local businesses, and investing in the communities I serve.

Outside of work and my responsibilities with the Foundation, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Most days, you can find me chasing my kids around to their various sporting events and activities. I also enjoy getting out for an occasional round of golf and making time to simply hang out with the people who mean the most to me.

I am proud to serve the Piedmont community and look forward to helping the Piedmont Public Schools Education Foundation continue its work supporting our students, teachers, and district for years to come.”
