Is your young artist still working on an Art Show entry? You've got until Wednesday, September 9 to drop it off at the Piedmont Library — plenty of time, but don't let it sneak up on you!

A quick refresher: any flat medium works (no collages, no framed pieces), 11"x14" or smaller. Ages 5–11 stick to the theme "Dreams on the Prairie" — 12 and up can create whatever inspires them. Five age groups, prizes awarded 1st through 3rd in each.

The show itself is Saturday, September 12, 9am–3pm First Baptist Church of Piedmont, as a part of Founder's Day. Big thanks to Piedmont Public Library for receiving all of the art work!

🎨 Art Show drop-off is officially open! Starting today, August 31, you can drop off your child's artwork for the 2026 Youth Art Show at the Piedmont Public Library.

Ages 5–18, any flat medium (no collages or framed pieces, please), sized 11"x14" or smaller. Remember: "Dreams on the Prairie" is the theme for ages 11 and under — 12 and up can submit anything.

⏰ Deadline to drop off: Wednesday, September 9 by 5pm at the Piedmont Public Library
🖼️ Show day: Saturday, September 12, 9am–3pm at First Baptist Church — part of Founder's Day

🎉📚 Congratulations to Gabby and Will! 📚🎉

A huge round of applause to Gabby and Will for completing our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program! Reaching 1,000 books is an incredible accomplishment that reflects countless stories shared, imaginations sparked, and a wonderful foundation built for a lifetime of learning.

We are so proud of both of you and can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll do as you continue your reading adventures! ❤️📖
