🎃 Happy Halloween from Hagood Mill! 👻

When the sun sets over Hagood Creek, the old mill wheel goes quiet… mostly. 🌙

The mill has stood here since 1845, and the rocks along the creek hold carvings far older than that. After so many years and so many souls passing through, who's to say every visitor has truly left? 🕯️

Wherever your night takes you, stay safe, enjoy the treats, and keep one eye on the shadows. 🦇

🔦 Feeling brave? Spend tonight hunting ghosts at the mill with paranormal investigator Brandon Cooper, 7–10 PM. Online tickets close at 6 PM: https://visithagoodmill.com/event/hagood-after-dark-ghost-hunting-tour-october-31-2026/ -tickets__tickets-form

In 2003, Michael Bramlett noticed something carved into the rock along Hagood Creek. 🔍

What he found turned out to be one of the most significant collections of Native American rock carvings in South Carolina. Archaeologist Dr. Tommy Charles researched and cataloged the carvings, and the Hagood Creek Petroglyph Center was built over them to protect them for good.

Swipe through the story, then come see it in person. Free, Wednesday to Saturday, 10 to 4.
