A quick update for those who support Tracy and Sunshine Gantt Ministries and Pickens County Shelter of Hope. ❤️

Over the past few days, several people reached out with questions about Zeffy. Some had never heard of the platform before, which is completely understandable.

After listening to the feedback, we've decided to make things a little simpler.

If you visit our website and click the Donate button, you will once again be directed to PayPal. We know many of our supporters are already familiar and comfortable with that platform.

For those who would still like to donate through Zeffy, we've left that option available on our website as well.

Big thank you to Hearth and Noon for choosing us to bless with healthy nutritious meals. God bless you! ❤️✝️

We have an exciting update. Many times we make too may grab and go meals…and we used to discard them until the departure of agriculture told us we could freeze them on Saturday when we close since they are good through Tuesday…and we could sell them at a discount…BUT we chose something better. We will now donate all of our leftover meals to Pickens County Shelter of Hope so that the residents can have access to healthy nutritious meals as well! We are so thankful for this opportunity and want to thank everyone who supports us so that we can carry out another branch of the mission behind why we started this business! Kindness is truly being the hands and feet of Jesus and that’s what this opportunity allows us to do! How about you? How can you use what you are called to do to help your community?!?

❤️ A Quick Update & A Heartfelt Thank You

First, we simply want to say thank you.

For years, your prayers, encouragement, donations, and financial support have helped us continue serving some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Because of you, meals have been served, lives have been changed, and people have found hope during some of their darkest moments.

We are incredibly grateful for every person who has supported Tracy and Sunshine Gantt Ministries and Pickens County Shelter of Hope throughout the years.

We also wanted to share a quick update regarding online giving.

We have recently transitioned the donation platform on our website from PayPal to Zeffy. While PayPal has served us well over the years, transaction fees reduced a portion of every donation. Zeffy is designed specifically for nonprofits and helps ensure that more of your gift goes directly towards supporting the mission.

If you visit our website and choose to donate financially, you will now be directed to our Zeffy campaign.

As many of you know, the 20th of each month is when we pay our operating expenses. Regardless of everything happening behind the scenes, our shelter continues to operate every day. Meals are still being served. Residents are still being transported to rehab. Laundry is still being done. Bills are still being paid. And most importantly, lives are still being impacted.

If God places it on your heart to give, please know that every gift (large or small) helps us continue serving those who depend on us each day.

And if you're unable to give financially, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing our mission with others are just as appreciated.

Today was an exciting day for Pickens County Shelter of Hope! ❤️🏠

We had the privilege of welcoming Candace and Stephanie from Upstate Continuum of Care (CoC)/United Housing Connections for a tour of our facility and for the opportunity to learn more about the work being done right here in Pickens County.

For more than six years, we've been blessed to serve adults experiencing homelessness, poverty, housing instability, recovery challenges, disability, and other life circumstances that leave them in need of hope and support. Every day, we strive to provide not only shelter, but also meals, resources, encouragement, accountability, and a pathway toward stability.

We are grateful for every individual, church, business, organization, volunteer, and supporter who has partnered with us along the way. The work being done here is only possible because of a community that cares. ❤️

Please keep our Founders, residents, staff and volunteers in your prayers as we continue serving those in need and sharing hope throughout our community.

Today Was A Beautiful Reminder Of How Important Community Partnerships Are. ❤️👮🏽‍♂️

Pictured Is Our Co-Founder, Pastor Tracy Gantt, Alongside Officer Reeves, Who Brought A New Resident To Our Facility Today. What Made The Moment Even More Special Is That They Actually Went To School Together Years Ago.

Moments Like This Remind Us That It Truly Takes A Community Working Together To Help People During Difficult Seasons Of Life.

We Are Extremely Thankful For The Relationships And Partnerships We Have Built With Local Law Enforcement Over The Years. Time And Time Again, Officers Have Helped Connect Men And Women In Crisis With Safety, Resources, Encouragement, And A Place To Start Over.

We Know Law Enforcement Often See People During Some Of Their Hardest Moments, And We Are Grateful For Officers Like Officer Reeves Who Continue To Show Compassion, Care, And A Willingness To Help.

Please Continue Praying For Our Community, Our Residents, Our Staff, And The Men And Women In Law Enforcement Who Serve Daily. ❤️
