TJ Halia & Ashley Jensen Receive Alltricity Network's 2026 Emerging Leader Awards

A Personal Note from McKell Purnell, AGM & Chief HR Executive:
I’m pleased to share that Timothy “TJ” Halia and Ashley Jensen have been selected as recipients of the 2026 Alltricity Network Emerging Leader Award. Alltricity Network is a long-standing trade association that brings together more than 200 electric utility organizations to provide industry education, professional development, and networking.

This award recognizes industry professionals with 5–10 years of electric utility experience who have made significant contributions within their organizations, demonstrated strong leadership potential, and shown outstanding service to the industry.

TJ is a Working Line Foreman on the Distribution Maintenance Team and Ashley is a leader in Apprentice & Skills Training. Their selection is a strong reflection of their impact, their leadership contributions at SRP, and their growing influence in our industry.

Please join me in congratulating TJ and Ashley on this well-deserved industry recognition.

ABOUT TJ HALIA
You might not know this, but TJ’s 9-year utility career growth is anchored by his entrepreneurial leadership as founder and operator of a licensed contracting firm. He joined SRP’s Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee program well into his career—competing with apprentices in their early 20s—and graduated as SRP’s Apprentice of the Year.

ABOUT ASHLEY JENSEN
If you have had the pleasure of working with Ashley, then you know she leads with humility, integrity and a genuine desire to make work better for all of us. One of Ashley’s greatest strengths is her ability to connect with each person by listening to their needs and translating them into practical, effective solutions. In doing so, she consistently elevates those around her.

As part of this recognition, both will be honored at the 2026 Alltricity Network Spring Conference (April 27–29) in Omaha. After the conference, Alltricity Network will highlight their accomplishments through press releases and features on its website, LinkedIn and in the Electric Industry Brief magazine.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our union brother, Shane Pust, has passed away from complications during a recent procedure.
The family welcomes all who would like to attend Shane's Honor Walk, before his organ donation. It is on the 1st floor at Chandler Regional Medical Center (1955 W. Frye Rd in Chandler), tomorrow, December 14th at 4:00am. That is not a typo.

His daughter has also put together a GoFundMe for anyone who is able to donate. Here is the link: https://gofund.me/5360e44e9

Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Hello, my name is Jasmine, and I am reaching out on behalf of my father, Shane, and our family… Jasmine Pust needs your support for Support for Shane’s Family
